Delete your PostChorus account and data

You can request deletion of your PostChorus account and associated data at any time. In the app, sign in and open Settings, then submit an account-data deletion request. You can also use the secure Support Center form below: select Privacy or data request, enter the email address associated with your PostChorus account, and say that you want your account and data deleted. If you cannot sign in, use the support form and tell us that you no longer have account access.

We may need to verify that you control the account before acting on the request. Once verified, we will delete the account and PostChorus-held data associated with it, including connected-account authorizations, synchronized drafts and media, shortcuts, scheduled posts, preferences, managed short links, and available PostChorus history, except for records we must retain for legal, billing, security, fraud-prevention, or audit purposes. We retain those limited records only for as long as necessary for those purposes or as required by law. Our Privacy Policy provides more detail.

Deleting your PostChorus account does not remove posts already published to connected social networks or copies held by those networks. Delete those posts on the destination services if needed. To avoid future charges, separately cancel any active subscription through the service where you purchased it, such as Google Play, Apple, or PostChorus Web.

Open and track a support case

Use the Support Center below to send a question, report a problem, or request help with your PostChorus account. After submitting a request, you will receive a case number and confirmation email.

If you are signed in, your cases appear in your personal support history. You can open a case to review its status, read replies, and continue the conversation. New cases and replies are delivered to the PostChorus support queue for review.

PostChorus aims to provide an initial response within 48 business hours. This is an initial-response target rather than a guarantee that every issue will be fully resolved within that period. Resolution time may depend on the issue, third-party services, or additional information needed from you.

Check the service first

Open the PostChorus service-status page. A healthy PostChorus Bridge reports "ok": true. If the Bridge is unavailable, wait a few minutes before reconnecting an account or trying the post again.

Signing in and synchronizing

After signing in on Mac, iPhone, or iPad, PostChorus may need a moment to synchronize your account, entitlements, connected destinations, history, drafts, and shortcuts. Keep the app open while the synchronization screen is visible. If it does not finish, close and reopen the app before attempting another sign-in.

Signing out and using another PostChorus identity should load a separate workspace. If information from the previous identity remains visible after synchronization finishes, do not delete it. Open a support case and include both PostChorus account email addresses and the app version.

Available destinations

The account-connection screen displays only services currently enabled and provisioned for your PostChorus account. A service that is not provisioned may not appear.

PostChorus currently supports eligible connections to Bluesky, Mastodon, Threads, Tumblr, Nostr, LinkedIn member profiles, Pinterest boards, and X. Availability may depend on your plan, account entitlements, administrative provisioning, application version, and the connected service’s own authorization requirements.

Connecting social accounts

Enter Bluesky handles without the @ sign. For Mastodon, enter the server hostname, such as mastodon.social.

LinkedIn authorization opens LinkedIn’s secure sign-in page and currently connects a member profile. LinkedIn organization, business, or community publishing is not yet generally available.

Threads authorization may ask you to continue using an Instagram identity associated with the Threads profile. Complete the authorization in the browser and keep PostChorus open until the connected destination appears.

Pinterest connections require an eligible Pinterest account and an available board. Each Pinterest board appears as a separate publishing destination so you can choose exactly where a Pin should be created.

Subscriptions and add-ons

Web subscriptions and purchases are managed through the billing controls in PostChorus Web. Apple subscriptions and in-app purchases will be managed through the purchaser’s Apple account when those products become available in the App Store versions of PostChorus.

If an eligible Apple purchase is not reflected in an App Store version of the app, open Subscription settings and choose Restore Purchases. Make sure the PostChorus identity shown in the app is the identity that should receive the purchase.

X access and posting costs

X is available only to eligible and provisioned accounts. Publishing through PostChorus-managed X API access is not included in a Core or Pro subscription and requires separately purchased X Credits. Available credit packs may include 250, 500, or 1,250 credits, with the price displayed before checkout.

An ordinary text post currently uses 1.5 X Credits. A post containing a URL uses 20 X Credits. Each included item of media alt-text metadata adds 0.5 X Credit. Multi-post threads are charged per segment, and selecting multiple X accounts applies the charge to each account. PostChorus shows the estimated total before posting and asks you to confirm it.

Credits are reserved while the request is completed. Only completed X requests are charged, and unused reserved credits are released. If you do not have enough credits, managed X publishing remains unavailable until more credits are added.

You can review your current balance and X Credit activity from PostChorus settings. The activity ledger records completed deductions and provides a link to the published post when one is available.

Photos and videos

Media support varies by destination. Confirm that each selected service supports the attached media type, number of files, and file size.

LinkedIn currently supports text or one image through PostChorus. If multiple images are attached, PostChorus warns you before publishing so you can adjust the LinkedIn version of the post.

Pinterest requires a supported image and an eligible destination board. If the photo or video picker does not open on an Apple device, confirm that PostChorus has access to Photos in the device’s privacy settings, then reopen the app.

URL shortening

PostChorus may offer managed pst.moi shortening, a connected Custom YOURLS service, or both. Choose Shorten URLs in the composer when you want links shortened.

If only one shortening service is active, PostChorus uses that service. If both pst.moi and Custom YOURLS are active, the composer asks you to choose which one to use.

PostChorus AI

PostChorus AI appears only when it is provisioned for the signed-in account. A suggestion can take several moments to return. Keep the request open while the progress indicator is visible.

If a request times out, try it once more. If repeated requests fail, check the service-status page and include the exact error when opening a support case. Always review AI-generated writing and accessibility suggestions before publishing them.

Before reporting a publishing problem

For an important post, verify the result directly on the destination service.
